American Pickers to Film in Minnesota

Have You Heard? American Pickers to Film in Minnesota in June 2023!

The American Pickers are excited to return to Minnesota! They plan to film episodes of The History Channel hit television series throughout our area in June 2023.

American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on The History Channel. The hit show follows skilled pickers in the business as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find historically significant or rare items, in addition to unforgettable characters and their collections!

\As they hit the backroads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and reuse forgotten relics. Along the way, they want to meet characters with amazing stories and fun items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way. The Pickers have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.

The American Pickers TV Show are looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasure. If you or someone that you know has a unique item, story to tell, and is ready to sell they would love to hear from you!

Please note, The Pickers DO NOT pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums, or anything open to the public

The Athletic Supporter Beer Tasting fundraiser & costume party for this year’s Doc “Moonlight” Graham Days will be taking place on May 5th! The theme for this year will be, as the name implies, sports teams; this includes soccer, football, baseball, hockey, etc.

Pick your favorite sports team and come out dressed like a hardcore fan, their mascot, a cheerleader, or your favorite player! (Please note that this is not a literal ‘athletic supporter’ costume event, but if one was so brave…good on you)

Attendees of the Athletic Supporter Beer Tasting will all have a starting location and then move from location to location trying a variety of beers & cocktails. Participants will have the chance to cast their votes on their favorite drinks throughout the evening and at the final stop the winning drinks will be announced!

There will also be a vote on best costumes from each “home team” (meaning each starting location will have their own winner!) as well as a Live Auction!
