Zombie Pub Crawl

Zombie Pub Crawl Time!   The Chisholm Chamber of Commerce is excited to kick off the Halloween season with our first Zombie Pub Crawl fundraising event! Find a look to die for and let’s have some fun! We will register at Tom & Jerry’s where we will divide into groups and receive your pub crawl pass, starting location, & agenda.

We will move every half hour to your next scheduled stop so that everyone has a chance to participate in each Ghoulish activity. Expect activities such as ZOMBI (bingo), Horror Movie Trivia, Creepy Carnival Games, Graveyard Mini Golf, and more. Participating locations include Jim’s Sports Club, Tom & Jerry’s, Snickers Pizza & Pub, Valentini’s, Papa Zzz’s, & transportation to/from Buhl to The Hydeaway & Billy’s Pit Stop.

Each stop will provide an appetizer and a signature cocktail & mocktail that you will vote on at the end of the night. We will end the night at Jim’s Sports Cub to dance it up monster mash style & announce Zombie King & Queen, game winners, signature cocktail/mocktail winners & split the pot winners.

The first 10 tickets sold from each of the following locations: **Valentini’s **Tom & Jerry’s, **Jim’s Sports Club ,**The Hydeaway, **Chisholm Chamber, or click**Event Bright (fees apply) will receive a commemorative zombie pub crawl glass when they present their orange ticket or Event Bright Conformation at registration.

Not a big drinker?  No Problem!  Although this event is for the ages of 21 and over, we wanted to make this night fun for all to attend and have a “Mocktail” option at each location to judge.  Everyone can enjoy traveling to each location, participate in the activities, & dance it up at the end of the night!

Come register as early as 4:30 where we will have a station to get Zombified with gory temporary tattoos!+

Zombie Pub Crawl Fun Facts

1. World Record Event
   The largest zombie pub crawl was held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with over 30,000 participants in 2014 — earning a Guinness World Record!

2. Started as a Joke
   The first zombie pub crawls were small, grassroots events — often organized by friends looking for a strange way to party. The idea quickly caught on like a virus.

3. Undead Dress Code
   Participants often go all-out with makeup, prosthetics, and torn clothing. Some even hire professional SFX artists to zombify them before the crawl.

4. Zombies with Etiquette
   Despite the gore, many zombie pub crawls have “zombie rules”, like:

   • No biting (even fake).

   • Respect the bars and patrons.

   • Stay in character, but don’t be a jerk.

5. Crawl Themes Exist
   Some pub crawls mix it up with themes like:

   • Zombie Prom

   • Undead Wedding

   • 80s Zombies

   • Zombie Pirates

6. Brains Optional, Booze Mandatory
   Drink menus are often zombified, featuring cocktails like:

   • “Zombie Slime”

   • “Bloody Brain Shooters”

   • “Infected IPA”

7. Flash Mobs & Dance Mobs
   Some crawls include choreographed “Thriller” dances in the street. Watching hundreds of fake-dead people dancing in sync is oddly beautiful.

8. Global Plague
   Zombie pub crawls have spread around the world — with events in Australia, Canada, the UK, and Brazil, among others.

9. Zombie Wedding Ceremonies
   Some couples actually get married in full zombie gear during the event. Vows often include promises like: “Til re-death do us part.”

10. Zombie Survival Games
    At some events, “survivors” are chased by zombies between pubs in a mix of LARP (Live Action Role Play) and drinking game.
