A New Chapter for Chisholm Schools!
It’s an exciting time for Chisholm! After years of construction, planning, and tremendous community support, the vision of bringing Pre-K through 12th grade together under one roof is finally becoming a reality. August and September will bring several opportunities to celebrate the new school and kick off an exciting year for Chisholm students and families.
Grand Opening – Thursday, August 27 at 500 p.m.
The community is invited to the Official Grand Opening of the new Chisholm School on Thursday, August 27 at 4:00 p.m.
This is a milestone years in the making. With the greenspace and parking lot nearing completion, the pieces of this incredible project are coming together. The support of the Chisholm community has played an important role throughout the process, and now it’s time to see that support come to fruition!
The Grand Opening celebration will feature special speakers, tours of the new school, and plenty of opportunities to explore the new spaces. Stick around afterward and help us end the evening with plenty of Bluestreak spirit at a home volleyball game!
Open House – Monday, August 31
Next up is the Open House on Monday, August 31 from 1:00–6:00 p.m. Students and families can tour the school, meet their teachers and staff, drop off school supplies, and get comfortable with their new surroundings before classes begin.
It’s the perfect opportunity to walk the halls, find classrooms, ask questions, and get excited for the year ahead.
First Day of School – September 1
The big day arrives Tuesday, September 1, when students officially return to class! This year marks an especially exciting beginning as students from Pre-K through grade 12 start the school year together on one campus.
There is another calendar change families can look forward to this year. Starting school before Labor Day allows the district to include an extended spring break from February 15–19, giving students, staff, and families a well-deserved midwinter break.
From the Grand Opening to the first bell, this is more than the beginning of another school year—it’s the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Chisholm Public Schools and the entire community.
In partnership with family and community, Chisholm Public Schools will empower, engage, and equip students to achieve the highest levels of education possible, becoming respectful and productive citizens.
Chisholm Athletics & Activities Are Going Digital with Bound!
There’s a new way to stay connected to Chisholm Bluestreak athletics and activities! Chisholm Public Schools is encouraging families, students, and community members to download the Bound app as the district moves toward a more convenient, mostly cashless experience.
Bound puts important school activity information right at your fingertips. Community members can use the app to purchase tickets to games and activities, view schedules for sports and activities, and keep up with upcoming events throughout the school year.
As part of this transition, Chisholm is moving to a mostly cashless system for admissions, concessions, registrations, and more. Downloading Bound ahead of time will help make attending games and school events easier and more convenient.
For Bluestreak fans, the app is also a great way to keep track of what’s happening throughout the season. Instead of searching in multiple places for schedules or event information, families and fans can turn to Bound to help plan when and where they’ll be cheering on Chisholm students.
With a brand-new school, a new school year, and exciting opportunities ahead, this is another way Chisholm Public Schools is making it easier for our community to stay involved and support our students.
Download the Bound app, find Chisholm Public Schools, and get ready for another great year of Bluestreak activities!
We encourage community members to download the app before heading to their first game or event so you’re ready to go when you arrive.
Go Bluestreaks!
Please check out the Chisholm Chamber Website for all community activities!
