Kids will trick or treat storefront to storefront through downtown Chisholm dressed up in their costumes to transform Lake Street into the spookiest place on The Range and will collect their treats from all participating storefront locations in a safe and fun environment! Local businesses will open their doors and provide a variety of candies, snacks, and treats for the kids to grab (and we hope all of you adults will be dressed up too, it is the reason for the season!)

Trolley in the Dark Tours
/in Events /by Ceasar OrtegaGet ready for a spooky & historic time at Minnesota Discovery Center with the return of their Trolley in the Dark Tours! Just in time for Halloween, and on Friday the 13th no less! There’s something spooky about being in a historic place… in the dark! Come ride our historic trolley and get a tour of the Glen Location after hours. Guests can bring in their own flashlights, but it’s scarier in the dark!
There’s something about October that makes everything just a little spookier, maybe it’s the chill in the air or how the hours seem to wind back and the dark creeps up faster than those daylit summer hours. Mix that together with a historic location and the heaviness of October night and you have a recipe for some spooky fun! Great idea to bring the kids out for, or bring a date!
If you have not experienced the Trolley in the Dark Tours before it’s absolutely something to experience and is the perfect way to dip your toes into the Halloween season! Try and find your way there, by flashlight or braving the dark!

Flashlight Clueseum
/in Events /by Ceasar OrtegaThe Flashlight Clueseum is back at Minnesota Discovery Center for the Halloween season on October 20th & 27th at 8PM!
Sometimes, the things you see in the shadows are more than just shadows. Flashlight Clueseum is back and we need you to solve the mystery but this time, in the dark. The clues are harder than ever and the dark will definitely make things more difficult!
Fastest to finish will win a prize!
Never played? It’s like the game Clue to an extent. You must solve the riddles provided to rule out who did it, with what weapon, and in what room. As you read the riddles, you’ll be directed to a specific part of the museum or exhibit. There you will try to pin point what the riddle exactly means and you will find a picture of a person or weapon (not obvious mind you – this is going to be HARD!). Once you find that picture, you will cross that picture off of your clue board and that means that the picture you found is not the answer to the mystery (aka the murderer or the weapon used). If you like solving riddles – this game is for you!
To play the game, it only costs $14 per Non-Member, $13 per Member
