A Celebration to Remember: Wrapping Up Doc “Moonlight” Graham Days 2026
What an incredible few days in Chisholm!
Doc “Moonlight” Graham Days 2026 brought beautiful weather, amazing crowds, familiar faces, new visitors, class reunions, music, food, family activities, and plenty of hometown pride to our community. From beginning to end, this year’s celebration reminded us exactly why this tradition continues to mean so much to Chisholm.
Over five days, our community came together to celebrate the remarkable story of Doc “Moonlight” Graham while enjoying events for just about every age and interest.
The week included community favorites such as Last Man Standing, Story Time for the Littles, live music, the Redhead Hike, Italian Buffet, Bands, Brews & BBQ, the Redhead Group Ride, the Grand Slam Grow Off, the Doc “Moonlight” Graham Car Cruise, the DMG Dart Tournament, and the Ghost Player Meet & Greet.
Saturday brought even more excitement with the Field of Dreams Ghost Player Comedy Baseball Show, a free family event that brought plenty of smiles and laughter to Chisholm’s Grandstand Field. The celebration continued with the Doc “Moonlight” Graham Days Parade, class reunions, downtown food and festivities, Bouncin’ Around Downtown, the DMG Classic Car Show, live music, and a fantastic fireworks display over the Chisholm Causeway Bridge.
And, of course, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without the Street Dance, which once again brought people together downtown for music, fun, and a summer night in Chisholm.
More Than an Event—It’s a Community Tradition
What makes Doc “Moonlight” Graham Days special isn’t simply the number of activities on the schedule. It’s seeing our streets filled with people. It’s welcoming former residents home for class reunions. It’s watching families make new memories together and seeing visitors experience Chisholm hospitality.
It’s also about celebrating a story that has become part of our community’s identity.
Doc “Moonlight” Graham’s legacy connects Chisholm to baseball history and Field of Dreams, but here at home, his story represents something even greater—a lasting connection between our history, our people, and the community we continue building today.

An event of this size simply does not happen without volunteers.
From organizing and promoting activities to helping with the parade, Ghost Player events, parking, cleanup, photography, the Classic Car Show, Bouncin’ Around Downtown, and countless behind-the-scenes details, our volunteers stepped up wherever they were needed.
