Did you know they also provide DAYCARE for your pup? Day Care is a great way to get your pup socializing and playing with other dogs It is a nice feeling that they aren’t just staring out the window waiting for you to get home from work. It also takes the stress away from you when you are heading out of town knowing they are staying with familiar faces. If you are looking into daycare, they would ask you to drop your pup off in the morning where we would require one on one time with our staff member to spend time getting to know your dog and slowly introduce him/her to our play areas throughout the day. Safety is their number on priority, so if any dog shows signs of aggression toward people or other dogs, they won’t be approved to participate in group play. Michelle has a very positive approach to teaching riders. Success comes thru clear communication and positive, constructive feedback. She is actively communicating with her riders throughout the lesson to make sure each rider understands the content. Michelle has a variety of ways to explain the concepts in each lesson so adapting to different learning styles is not an issue. This ensures all students have an equal opportunity for success!
Lesson horses are available if you do not have your own.
Beginner to Advanced; Michelle can help you improve your skills and relationship with your horse.
Various lesson programs are available to fit each student’s individual skills and goals.
All lessons are held at White Bridge Stables.
Training
Young horses are Michelle’s passion. “Helping them through their struggles and then seeing them succeed in the training and show arenas is such a joy to experience,” says Michelle. Her approach is very focused on listening to the horse, developing confidence, determining where each horses’ struggles lie and to develop the correct method for that horse to succeed, as well as developing great basics which are a foundation to success.
She is not just a young horse trainer though, she also enjoys and is talented in bringing horses through the levels as far as each horse can physically and mentally handle with grand prix always as the ultimate goal.
Michelle has worked with a variety of breeds and has ridden and trained in numerous disciplines outside of dressage; she understands where weaknesses may lie in each breed, and can help each horse overcome those weaknesses to the best of their abilities.
Thoroughbreds are her love and has enjoyed re-training and bringing them up the levels over the years.
She has trained with other local trainers as well as national trainers such as Sandi Chohaney and Jodi Cressmen thru clinics. Michelle is constantly learning and adding education and skills to her training through clinics, video lessons, publications, and auditing upper level riders. She is an out of the box thinker, which allows her to take a variety of methods and adapt them to her horses’ needs.
