Sled the City: The Anticipated End of Polar Bear Days Sledding Party

Sled the City will be taking place on Saturday, February 25th from 10AM-4PM at the top of 3rd Street and it’s set to be a fun filled day of sledding & ice skating! There will also be free books & cookies provided by the Chisholm Public Library at the South Side Skating Rink at the bottom of the hill where attendees can enjoy open skate.

Sled the City is fairly new insofar as our Annual Polar Bear Days events and it is possibly some of the best fun you can have in town this winter, a sledding party right in downtown is definitely something nobody would want to miss!

There’s a few other in town events on the 25th too that you should check out if you’re planning on sledding through Chisholm:

  1. Chisholm Lion’s Club Kids Pajama Party – from 11AM-1PM at Jim’s (Bring the kids in after sledding to warm up, play games, and grab some snacks!)
  2. 12th Annual Luau – 8PM Costume Party at Jim’s with LIVE music by “Merchants of Swill” Limbo contest, costume contest & fishbowl drinks.
  3. Pool Tournament at T&T DOM – Pool tournament at 3PM and LIVE music by “The Hooligans” at 6PM
  4. Snowshoe Adventure Hike at MDC – 1PM-3PM  3-mile guided snowshoe hike to the historic Glen Location with a bonfire, s’mores, and hot cocoa in front of the Thompson Homestead Exhibit.
