Giving Back to the Iron Range

Proceeds from Spirits of Giving will benefit Project Care Free Clinic and its mission to provide healthcare access and outreach to people who are uninsured or underinsured.

Project Care Free Clinic works alongside other community-based organizations to connect patients with continued treatment, screenings, education, and other resources. Their goal is simple but incredibly important: help make healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.

Volunteer Your Time – Make a Difference!

Supporting Project Care Free Clinic doesn’t have to stop when Spirits of Giving is over!

The organization relies on the generosity of volunteers who share their time, talents, and professional expertise to help serve patients and strengthen our communities. There are opportunities for both medical and non-medical volunteers, making it possible for many community members to get involved.

Volunteer Opportunities

RECEPTION

Help create a welcoming experience for patients! Reception volunteers greet patients, assist with registration forms, and help with general office duties.

INTAKE

Intake volunteers take patients’ vital signs and document signs and symptoms related to their primary medical concerns. Volunteers for this position must be an RN, LPN, CMA, CNA, or EMT.

PHARMACY

Pharmacy volunteers assist with identifying appropriate medications, researching medication options and costs online and by phone, and helping patients complete applications for medication assistance programs. Qualified volunteers include Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

MEDICAL PROVIDER

Dedicated medical professionals are always needed to help care for patients. Medical providers evaluate patients’ medical concerns, order labs or diagnostic testing when appropriate, make referrals, and provide necessary follow-up care.

SPECIAL EVENTS

You don’t need a medical background to make a difference! Volunteers can also lend a hand with fundraisers, prevention and education classes, community projects, and other special events throughout the year.

Give Your Time. Share Your Talents. Strengthen Our Community.

Whether it’s purchasing a ticket to Spirits of Giving, volunteering at the clinic, helping with a special event, or simply spreading the word about the resources available, there are many ways to support Project Care Free Clinic.

Come raise a glass on September 25, enjoy a wonderful evening at Valentini’s, and help support accessible healthcare right here on the Iron Range!
