Support the Fight to End Alzheimer’s: Two September Events in Chisholm

This September, the Range Area community has two great opportunities to come together, enjoy a meal, get moving and support the Alzheimer’s Association. Proceeds and funds raised through these events help provide care and support for individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s while advancing research toward prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.

2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Range Area Walk

Then, keep the momentum going at the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Range Area Walk on Saturday, September 19, at the Minnesota Discovery Center, 1005 Discovery Drive in Chisholm.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by the opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m., with the Walk immediately afterward.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to join this inspiring community event and help advance the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

There is no fee to register, but participants are encouraged to raise funds to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s 24/7 care and support services and research efforts.

Participating is easy: register for the local Walk and start or join a team, begin fundraising and invite friends, family and coworkers to get involved, and then join the community at Minnesota Discovery Center on Walk day.

For more information about the Range Area Walk, contact Mike Ryth at 218-302-5563 or meryth@alz.org. Those interested in helping behind the scenes can also sign up to volunteer.
