Tee Off at Tom & Jerry’s Annual Golf Outing
Grab your clubs, gather your team and get ready for a day on the green! Tom & Jerry’s of Chisholm is hosting its Annual Golf Outing on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Virginia Golf Course.
The outing will feature a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at noon. The cost is $75 per person, making it a great opportunity to round up some friends, coworkers or fellow golf enthusiasts for an afternoon of friendly competition and fun. After a day on the course, we’ll trade the golf clubs for dinner forks and wrap things up with Prime Rib at Tom & Jerry’s!

What’s a Golf Scramble?
If you’re not a seasoned golfer, don’t let the word “scramble” scare you! Scrambles are one of the most social and beginner-friendly formats in golf.
In a typical four-person scramble, each golfer hits a shot, the team chooses the best one, and everyone plays their next shot from that spot. The process continues until the ball is in the hole. That means one bad shot doesn’t have to ruin the hole—your teammate might come to the rescue!
A Few Scramble Fun Facts
- Teamwork is the name of the game. A scramble combines the talents of all four golfers, so everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
- Beginners can join the fun. Because the team plays from its best shot, scrambles are generally more forgiving than traditional individual play.
- Every golfer can be the hero. Your longest hitter might shine off the tee, while another teammate could save the day with a great chip or clutch putt.
- Scrambles can move faster. Since everyone plays from the same selected location, the format can help keep groups moving around the course.
- Strategy matters! Teams can decide who should hit first or last depending on the situation, adding a little strategy to the friendly competition.
